Fund calendar: dividends, auto-redemptions, holidays and AMC announcements

See in one calendar which funds close their books, pay dividends, auto-redeem, stop taking orders, open an IPO or make changes announced by the AMC, and on which day.

The fund calendar puts every fund's key dates in one place. Use it to answer how long you need to hold units to get a dividend, when the money arrives, which days you can't place orders, and which funds are on offer or changing something. The top of the calendar repeats the single most important rule: you must hold units on the book-close or redemption date to receive the payment.

Dividends come from AMC announcements, and items marked ≈ are estimates based on the fund's past payment pattern. Auto-redemption dates, fund-specific holidays, order suspensions, IPOs and other changes come from AMC notices, and these items link to the original document with "📄 Notice". Days when the market is closed all day show as "Closed" with the holiday's name. The top corner shows the date of the data.

  1. 1Event type buttons with counts. Tap one to see only that kind; several can be on at once, and "All" brings every type back.
  2. 2Each day shows its event types by colour with the number of funds that day. A dashed tag is an estimate; dots mark an IPO, a change or a trading stop. Tap a date to see that day's events.
  3. 3Days the market is closed all day are striped and tagged "Closed". Orders sent that day are processed on the next business day.
  4. 4A dividend event shows the book closing date, the payment date, the dividend in baht per unit and its % of NAV. Before book closing it also says how many days are left.
  5. 5Dividend status tags: "Still time to buy" means you can still buy to qualify for this round, "Waiting for payment" means the book has closed, and "Estimate" means the AMC has not announced it yet; its figures carry ≈ and show the usual payment cycle.
  6. 6An auto-redemption event shows the redemption date, the date the money arrives, and the amount per unit once the AMC announces it.

Event types

  • Money in: dividend payment dates, and the dates you receive auto-redemption proceeds
  • Book close: the date the register of unitholders closes for the dividend entitlement. You need to hold units on this day
  • Auto-redemption: the date the fund redeems units for unitholders automatically
  • IPO: funds currently in their initial public offering
  • Changes: fee changes, scheme amendments, liquidity management tools, fund dissolution or maturity, or anything else that takes effect per a notice
  • Orders unavailable: fund-specific holidays, and suspensions of buy, sell or switch orders

Reading the calendar grid

On a wide screen the calendar shows 7 weeks, starting from the current week. Each day shows the event types by colour and the number of funds that day; estimated items appear in a lighter colour. Tap the arrows to move to the previous or next week, and "This week" to come back. On a phone you see one week at a time as a 7-day strip. Days when the market is closed all day are marked "Closed", and orders placed that day are processed on the next business day.

Reading the items for a day

  • A dividend item shows the book-close date, the payment date, the dividend in baht per unit and what % of NAV it is. If the book close is still ahead, it tells you how many days are left
  • Dividend status tags come in 3 kinds. "Still time to buy" means you can still buy in time for this round. "Awaiting payment" means the books have closed and payment is pending. "Estimated" means the AMC hasn't announced it yet; all its figures carry ≈ and show the usual payment pattern, such as yearly
  • An auto-redemption item shows the redemption date, the date you receive the cash, and the amount per unit when the AMC has announced it
  • When several funds from the same AMC have the same event on the same day, they are combined into one row, such as "ONEAM · 4 funds", with the range of amounts per unit and % of NAV. Tap the row to see every fund, and tap a fund code to open its fund page
If you're buying before the book-close date, allow for the order cut-off time. NAV usually drops on the day units go ex-dividend because part of the money is paid out, so your total return doesn't rise by the amount of the dividend.

How to use it

  1. Open the fund calendar. Today's items appear beside the calendar (or below it on a phone)
  2. Tap an event type such as "Money in" or "Book close" to see only that. You can tap several at once, and "All" brings every type back
  3. When only Money in or Book close is selected, status buttons "Still time to buy", "Awaiting payment" and "Estimated" appear for further filtering
  4. Type a fund code or AMC name into the search box to see only the funds you hold
  5. Tap a date on the calendar to see that day's items. The heading tells you how many days away it is and sums up the number of funds of each type
% of NAV is based on the latest NAV as of the data date, not the NAV on the actual payment day. Items marked ≈ haven't been announced by the AMC, and the fund may skip a payment. The AMC may also reschedule or cancel some items later, and the calendar then says which notice rescheduled or cancelled them. Check the AMC's announcement before you buy or sell.
